About Gau Vasundhara

Established with a deep commitment to indigenous cow welfare, sustainable rural tourism, and Vedic A2 lifestyle products.

Our Core Ethos

Restoring Sacred Dignity to Mother Cow Through Self-Sustaining Stewardship

For millennia, indigenous cows in India have been revered not merely for milk, but as the cornerstone of biological soil enrichment, natural organic agriculture, and holistic well-being. Modern industrialization disrupted this reverence by turning gentle bovine mothers into high-yield commercial machinery, discarding them the moment their milk production declines.

Gau Vasundhara was founded to break this cycle. Operating under a modern institutional charter in Gujarat, we maintain dedicated sanctuaries where indigenous cows (principally Gir and Kankrej) live in dignity for their natural lifespans. We do not rely solely on sporadic donations; instead, we create a thriving ecosystem through genuine patron memberships, family cow guardianships, certified Vedic products, and enriching eco-tourism.

I

Indigenous Preservation

Safeguarding pure Gir, Kankrej, and Sahiwal genetics adapted naturally to Indian climates with superior A2 beta-casein proteins.

II

Dignified Retirement

Elderly cows that have served society are guaranteed soft pastures, veterinary hospice, and peaceful natural transition.

III

Soil & Ecological Balance

Cow dung and gomutra are utilized directly for organic farm Jeevamrit, restoring living aerobic microbes to degraded farm soils.

The Sanctuary Grounds

Nestled within the quiet valley reserves of Gujarat, our sanctuary encompasses lush rotational grazing pastures, native neem and banyan shade groves, a heritage Bilona dairy hall, and handcrafted eco-cottages for visiting families.
